Description of the work

This painting shows a massive Tunisian fortress. We can observe it through the open window of an ornate door. It symbolizes the new Tunisia. It is the famous landmark of that town situated on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. The work is shown in warm colors : oranges and red, with two areas of blue for the sky and the water. The painting was made in 2011 as part of the 9th International Festival of Visual Arts of Monastir
