Description of the work

This painting represents the symbols of Tunisia : its flag, the moon and the red star on a white circle ; the hand of Fatma ; the palm trees ; the doors so characteristic in this Maghreb country ; the dove of peace with a branch of olive tree in its beak ; the olive tree ; the camel, an animal living in the tunisian desert ; the fez ; the musicians' hat ; the darbouka, the musical instrument (tam-tam of sorts) ; the pottery. It was painted in 2011 atthe 9th International Festival of Visual Arts of Monastir.
